The new business law in Ethiopia forces all share companies to have a website!
Ethiopia is one of the respected countries in this world and known for its victory over Italy and that lets the country be known as non-colonized compared with other African countries. Ethiopia also has its own language, culture, unique alphabet, and calendar system.
During the past 10 years, especially in the past 2 and 3 years, the country has been striving to grow while trying to resolve internal issues which are causing the country to struggle in different sections, like business and communities.
Recently, Ethiopia has launched a new business law, F.D.R.E. Revised Commercial Code Proclamation No. 1243-2021, and this new business law has 825 articles.
Article 492 forces all share companies (PLCs) to have a website for their company.
Article 493 and 494 explain the details of what the website should have as information, and how it works as a professional and standard website.
