Our business world is already dominated by a bunch of Baby Boomers and Generation X. But Millennials or Generation Y are just ordinary people in their time. But WHY?
There are many incubator companies around the world. It seems that almost all incubator companies are partnered with foreign companies instead of local investors. What we don’t understand and we would like to ask is: WHY LOCAL MILLIONAIRES ARE HIDING THEMSELVES FROM STARTUP BUSINESSES? AND WHO IS BEHIND THESE INCUBATOR COMPANIES?
As a startup business owner, I would like to have a clear answer before joining any of them. Because I don’t think that Baby boomers and Generation X are exposing their past years of business journey to Millennials.
So if Millennials are NOT familiar with business procedures and methodologies, who is going to tell the Generation Z about business facts? OR Do millennials have to wait until they become Generation X and BabyBoomers in order to guide the Generation Z to the right business?
I don’t think that is the right way. Because millennials are not required to wait until they become like Generation X and Baby Boomers in order to support Generation Z.
If Millenials are living in their time, they should get proper care, guide and support from the past generation (Generation X and Baby Boomers). Otherwise, Millennials will NOT have anything to share about business with Generation Z. And this will cause a serious generational crisis. Maybe it is causing already!
In case, if you don’t know, here is the birth year information for each generation:
- Gen Z, iGen, or Centennials: Born 1996 – TBD.
- Millennials or Gen Y: Born 1977 – 1995.
- Generation X: Born 1965 – 1976.
- Baby Boomers: Born 1946 – 1964.
- Traditionalists or Silent Generation: Born 1945 and before.
