To get more readers, you must write a good and targeted article from your mind. That is your inner knowledge which is located inside of you.
To write good and targeted articles, you must build your knowledge by reading other articles and books or even real lifestyles, so you can write your good and targeted article. That is called creating your own version of knowledge.
When you write something in your own expression, you are referring to lifestyle, other articles, and books. And it will be considered as your hard work or effort since you have spent hours or minutes to get that knowledge. So the full credit will be yours even if you quote references.
For Example: When I am writing this article which you are reading right now, I referred to my own lifestyle. Currently, I am a startup writer and contributing my knowledge to my magazine, HABTAM.com website. It is pretty exciting to share knowledge with other people. If you see my articles in my magazine HABTAM, there are some published articles. I wrote them all based on the knowledge I gathered from other lifestyles, articles, and books.
The exciting thing after writing your own article is that it will become or serve as knowledge for other people like you. People will read it and apply it if it is worthy.
Plagiarism Vs Creating Your Own Version Of Knowledge
According to Wikipedia: Plagiarism is the “wrongful appropriation” and “stealing and publication” of another author’s “language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions” and the representation of them as one’s own original work. Plagiarism is considered academic dishonesty and a breach of journalistic ethics.
Creating Your Own Version Of Knowledge is, as described in the above paragraphs, it is like gathering knowledge from other articles, books, and lifestyles (It could be yours). And based on that fact, you can write and share your level of knowledge using your own words. But it is NOT copying and pasting someone’s hard work. If you do that, it is plagiarism. In case if you quote something from other articles or books, you simply contact the original author and ask for permission for the quote or if available, read the copyright section of that article or book.
So creating your own version of knowledge is not stealing, but Plagiarism, it really is.
